IRATA Training - Level 1

Entry-level certification for beginners in rope access.

⇒ Designed for individuals with no prior access experience

⇒ Focus on basic rope access techniques under close supervision

⇒ Training includes:

  • Rope ascending and descending​

  • Basic rigging and knot tying

  • Use of backup systems and safety checks

  • Simple rescue procedures

⇒ Emphasis on safety, equipment handling, and worksite awareness​

⇒ 5-day training allowed by an independent assessment

⇒ Certification allows work under supervision on Level 3 technicians

⇒ Globally recognized under IRATA standards

IRATA Training - Level 2

​

Intermediate certification for experience rope access technicians.

⇒ For candidiates with IRATA Level 1 certification and required logged hours

⇒ Builds on basic techniques with more advanced skills and responsibilities

⇒ Training includes:

  • Advanced rigging and anchor systems​

  • Aid climbing and rope-to-rope transfers

  • Comple rescue techniques

  • Team coordination and worksite supervision

⇒ Emphasis on efficiency, safety, and problem-solving in challenging environments​

⇒ 5-day training followed by an independent assessment

⇒ Prepare technicians to work with minimal supervision under a Level 3

⇒ Recognized internationally under IRATA standards

IRATA Training - Level 3

Advanced certification for rope access team leaders and supervisors.​

⇒ For experienced Level 2 technicians meeting IRATA logbook requirements

⇒ Focuses on leadership, safety management, and advanced rescue skills

⇒ Training includes:

  • Comprehensive risk assessment and method statements​

  • Complex rigging systems and rescue planning

  • Supervision of rope access operations and team management

  • Incident control and emergency response

⇒ Strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, safety oversight and documentation​

⇒ 5-day intensive training followed by an independent assessment

⇒ Required for those supervising rope access work or managing teams on site

⇒ Globally recognized under IRATA's international certification framework
